American States Water Company (AWR) reported basic and fully diluted earnings of $1.58 and $1.57 per share, respectively, for the twelve months ended December 31, 2005 as compared to basic and fully diluted earnings of $1.19 and $1.18 per share, respectively, reported for the same period ended December 31, 2004. Basic and fully diluted earnings were both $0.30 per share for the three months ended December 31, 2005 as compared to basic and fully diluted earnings of $0.16 per share reported for the same period ended December 31, 2004.
